Meeting with the Chairman of the State Customs Service

The Business Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Robin Ord-Smith had a meeting with the Chairman of the State Customs Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Torutaev. During the meeting, parties discussed issues of cooperation within the investigations of entrepreneurs’ complaints on actions of public bodies and officials. Mr. Ord-Smith explained the role and responsibilities of the Business Ombudsman Institute. The State Customs Service expressed its support to the BOI mission and activities in protecting business interests, reducing corruption and improving the business environment in the country
