Regional visits: Karakol

Today, on March 11, 2020, representatives of the Business Ombudsman Institute met with entrepreneurs of Karakol city. During the meeting, the role and mission of the Institute in protecting the legitimate interests of business against the actions or omissions of state bodies, local governments, and public sector enterprises, criteria for complaints considered and ways to file complaints were presented and discussed. The meeting was attended by business representatives of Karakol, Ak-Suu, Zheti-Oguz and Tup regions, representatives of business associations and the Center for Business Support of Karakol City. City authorities were presented by the prosecutor of Issyk-Kul region Mr. Mamatbayev and district prosecutors of Issyk-Kul region. According to the Chairman of the Issyk-Kul Business club, Veniamin Kudryavtsev: “Establishment of the Business Ombudsman Institute is a great decision to support the business. I sincerely hope for the effective work of the Institute in defending the rights of entrepreneurs”. Earlier in the day, the Deputy Business Ombudsman Mr. Musuraliev had a meeting with the Deputy Governor of the Issyk-Kul region Ms. Usenova and akims of the region.
