“Protecting Business: G2B. Evolution of the partnership” Forum

On July 14, 2020, the Deputy Business Ombudsman Mr. Ponomarev distantly participated in “Protecting Business: G2B. Evolution of the partnership” Forum. The Forum was organized in the capital of Bashkortostan, Ufa city. The forum was attended by the Head of Bashkortostan Republic Mr. Khabirov R.F., Business Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Mr. Titov B.Yu., leading Russian politicians, representatives of large and small businesses. The forum participants exchanged their experiences and best practices in protecting business, presented successful cases, and discussed challenges that businesses face during COVID-19 pandemic. The Deputy Business Ombudsman delivered a speech at the “Business and State: The Standard of Partnership” session. He shared the specifics of the state-business partnership in Kyrgyzstan, current investment climate in the country, the cooperation of the Business Ombudsman Institute with the Government and state bodies, first successful cases, and trends of complaints considered by the Business Ombudsman. In conclusion, he highlighted: "The interaction between business and government is a process that requires constant communication, trust, and a general atmosphere of mutual understanding"
